Although born and bred in Southampton, southern England, I moved here some in 2004 with friends and, now consider Pembrokeshire on the south west coast of Wales to be my adopted home. The rather laid back attitude and genuine friendliness of the local people make such a change compared to the bustle of the city.
Milford Haven with it’s deep natural harbours fed by a gulf stream has a mild climate, which often leads to “grey days” sometimes accompanied by drizzle that lasts all day. But, when the sun shines there is nowhere more beautiful and stunning then Pembrokeshire.
However, being coastal we do get battered by winds sometimes, which is I think, what created my interest in the local weather conditions and the purchase of a Davis Vantage Vue weather station which has eventually led to the creation of this site.
Since a child I have been loosely interested in the outdoors and wildlife – especially birds, and also photography. Living here surrounded by Gods beauty rekindled those interests and, all the pictures on this site have been taken by myself.
Thanks for visiting this site which will continue to grow over the next twelve months with the inclusion of a photo gallery.
